Our Offender Reentry Program (ORP) Offers Another Chance

EAC Network's Offender Reentry Program (ORP) is designed for individuals, with co-occurring substance abuse and mental health issues, who are returning to NYC from NYS Department of Correction and Community Supervision prisons. Our ORP Clinical Care Coordinators and Case Managers engage clients in a working relationship while they are incarcerated. Engagement continues through release so that healthy coping skills and problem-solving techniques may be established. To learn more about ORP, click here.

Safe Harbour Programs Receive Recognition

EAC Network’s Safe Harbour programs’ staff were recently honored at the 36th Annual Child Abuse & Neglect/Family Violence Volunteer and Professional Recognition Day Award Ceremony. They received the Outstanding Victim Support Services Award for the incredible work and services they provide to the youth of Suffolk County which includes case management, mentorship, peer support and more. Congratulations to our staff who continue to make us proud every day!

Raising Awareness During Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month

EAC Network continues to reach out to leaders within our diverse communities to better understand their evolving needs. During Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month, we connected with Dr. Sana Malik, PhD., Assistant Professor at Stony Brook University’s School of Social Welfare. Our discussion included social issues, the need for more services, and how EAC Network is addressing the shift for mental health needs as a proud provider agency of NY Project Hope. LIDRC's Trainer, Gregg Scheiner, Receives Prestigious Award

Alverta B. Gray Schultz Middle School, of the Hempstead Union Free School District, recently held its Inaugural My Brother’s Keeper (MBK) Awards Ceremony. EAC Network’s LIDRC Trainer, Gregg Scheiner, was awarded with the MBK Outstanding Teaching Award which honors those who demonstrate outstanding teaching and mentoring. Congratulations, Gregg!
