Dear  EAC Network Supporter,

If child welfare and literacy are important to you, make sure you attend our 9th Annual Cohalan Cares for Kids on Thursday, March 5, 2020 at the Suffolk County Bar Association in Hauppauge! The event will benefit our Suffolk County Children's Center at Cohalan Court, a child care center where children play and learn while parents or guardians tend to their court business. Hon. Gaetan B. Lozito (retired) will be honored for her long-time dedication to the children and families that the Center serves.

In-Home Respite Orients New Companions

Our In-Home Respite Services program was very fortunate to have had six caring and competent individuals attend our most recent New Companion Orientation, which allows them to join our team of wonderful companions who give family caregivers of the elderly much needed time off!

Stoplift Program Prevents Reoffenders

Did you know that about 1 in 11 people shoplift, with 55% of shoplifters reporting that they started shoplifting as teens? Through our Stoplift program, our goal is to intervene for first-time offenders and educate them on the consequences of their behavior.

FICM Safely Reintegrates Those with Mental Illness

For individuals with serious mental illness, returning from the criminal justice system can be a tough transition. Our Forensic Intensive Case Management (FICM) program addresses the needs of reintegrating individuals and connects them with the housing and effective community-based care they need to live structured and proactive lives.

NY Islanders Support EAC Network 

The NY Islanders recently donated $4,371 to EAC Network as a part of the NY Islanders Hockey With a Heart Program, which helps bring local organizations to fans directly. The game put a spotlight on the good work and mission of EAC Network while raising much needed support for our organization through a sold-out game!

Our Long Island Dispute Resolution Centers hosted a table manned by LIDRC's own Gregg Scheiner at the 39th Annual Long Island Agricultural Forum at the Suffolk County Community College Eastern Campus in Riverhead. LIDRC was also mentioned in their January 2020 Agricultural News!
